Visual Design

For the following features, please describe what you would like for your site. It may also be beneficial to spend some time browsing the web to view your competitors’ sites.

As you come across sites that you like, include the addresses and describe what you like about them. Take note of what appeals to you in the following categories:

• layout (placement of items throughout page)
• navigation (buttons/links; in general, these are either horizontal across the top of the page or vertically stacked on the left side)
• colors/color combination
• fonts (main text should be easy to read but headings and subheadings can be fancier)

Content

How many pages would you like to start out with? More can always be added later as your company grows. Examples:

• Home Page (most valuable, first impression for visitors)
• About Us (about you/company, credentials/resume, pictures)
• Resources (listing of links visitors might find useful)
• Services/Rates Page
• Contact Us (submission form, address, phone & fax, e-mail)
• Testimonials
• Other

Who is going to write the text for your Web site?

We offer flexible writing services but the easiest & preffered method is to have you submit a draft of what you would like. If desired, you can also choose to have us fine-tune it for the web.

To avoid unnecessary delays, the majority of the content should be completed before the design process begins.
